I contacted Suzanne because my 1 1/2 year old pineapple green cheek conure started aggressively biting my hand (I still have scars...) I met with Suzanne and after two sessions (one at her place, one at mine) I am happy to report that my GCC's biting has ceased and she is back to her cuddly adorable self.

Suzanne gave me tips to curb my GCC's behavior as well as a safe place for her to socialize with other people and birds. We have now been bite free for 10 weeks with no sign of increased aggression as we approach mating season. Success!

I wish there were more than 5 stars to click for Suzanne! I have a Sun Conure (Cosmo) and a Jenday Conure (Pilot). These birds are my children, I'm very particular about how they are cared for. I give them a varied diet of fresh and cooked food, they are fully flighted and spend much of their time out of the cage with me. I was nervous to leave them in someone else's care. But after meeting with Suzanne, I knew they would be in great hands!

 

Under Suzanne's care they received varied organic fresh and cooked food, healthy treats and frozen treats for those hot summer days. Cosmo and Pilot stayed in one large cage together (like they do at home) and were allowed out of their cage everyday to fly. Suzanne was very understanding of my concern about leaving my girls in someone else's care. She sent me many email updates along with pictures. I could tell they were having fun and really loved Suzanne. This made it easy to relax and not worry about them while I was away visiting my family.

Suzanne was helpful, honest, caring, responsible, consistent, respectful, sincere, reliable and thoughtful in all of my interactions with her and her care of Cosmo and Pilot. I would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone who needs to have their bird watched. She is very competent and easy to work with. When I came to pick them up, they were out flying around and happily flew to me to greet me. Pilot gave me a kiss and then flew over to Suzanne's shoulder, scooting as close as she could to her face.  She looked like she was trying to say good bye to her new friend:)

 

Leaving my birds with Suzanne was a great experience for me. But most importantly, it was a great experience for my birds.

We had our two birds (lineolated parakeet and English budgie) stay with Suzanne while we were away. She is nothing short of amazing! I'm extremely picky about who watches my birds and I felt very at ease with them being in her care. She kept us up to date on how they were doing and sent many pictures.

Not only is she an expert on birds, but she goes out of her way to share her knowledge with you. When we came home both of our birds had been out flying around with her budgies and were being very vocal.

She also sells some very high quality food mixes she puts together herself as well as toys. I'd definitely recommend her if you need boarding or even for behavioral coaching. We will be using her services again in the future whenever we go away.

I was at the end of my rope emotionally, and needed assistance with an aggressive behavior issue i was having with my recently adopted Meyers Parrot.

​

Suzanne called me immediately, and after talking, we are approaching it from a hormonal point of view. (his hormones are all flared up). I got great advice, was able to make some small changes in environment, and already seeing a change in his attitude and reactions. I am also making some dietary changes starting this week. I was able to have him out on his play tree with the rest of the flock over this memorial day weekend and he only flew down a couple of times, and seems more relaxed. Time and patience is all we need now :)

 

I am thankful for Suzanne, and her wisdom, that helped me see what needed to be done to help make my bird happy, and earn his trust.
